PT Sigma Utama took part in the BRIN-Kemhan Business Meeting on Tuesday, April 21, 2025 which aims to build a strategic defense industry ecosystem. In this forum, PT Sigma Utama introduced anti-radar paint technology innovation cat anti radarwhich was welcomed positively as a real contribution from the industry in supporting defense and national economic growth. This activity aims as a cross-sector synergy in the field of defense technology. Carrying the tagline "Towards Indonesia 2045: Advancing Strategic Defense Technology by Research and Innovation" was attended by representatives from national strategic industries, representatives of friendly countries, academics, as well as private and state business actors who have a role in strengthening the national defense system including PT Sigma Utama.
Attended by the Deputy Minister of Defense (Wamenhan), Marsekal Madya TNI (Purn) Donny Ermawan Taufanto appreciated the business meeting activities initiated by BRIN.
"This activity is very good, bringing together research workers, industry players, and users in a forum whereas we can coordinate, cooperate on what the users need, what the industry needs, and what the researchers need," said Donny Ermawan. After successfully applying anti-radar paint to ships and tactical combat vehicles, the Deputy Minister of Defense asked Sigma Utama to develop anti-radar paint that could be applied to drone devices. The series of events included the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU), thematic panel discussions, business matchmaking, and talk show sessions which presented speakers from the Ministry of Defense, BRIN research center, strategic industry representatives, as well as representatives of ambassadors and defense attaches of friendly countries such as China, Russia, America and 24 friendly countries. PT Sigma Utama hopes that this forum can be a major contribution in supporting the innovation of the domestic paint industry.
